Hold the press! The metal press, that is.

2026 Topps Mint Marvel returns with a larger base set of cards “minted” on a design that resembles bars of various precious metals.

Select collectors got their first look at the product during the annual San Diego Comic Con (Spider-Man is on the cover of these boxes). In hobby boxes, which picture three characters on the box, collectors can expect one encased card.

2026 Topps Mint Marvel Checklist Overview

After debuting to an enthusiastic fanbase last year, Topps has expanded the tiered base set to 125 cards for 2026. The five extra cards land in the Platinum tier, which is reserved for only the most notable characters from the Marvel universe and are numbered to /99.

In every box, collectors can expect four base cards from the Bronze tier, three from the Silver tier, and two from the Gold tier. The final card in every box is encased. Base cards also have multiple parallel and Chrome versions. Among them are SDCC-exclusive Black & Yellow Electric Dots (/10).

Other parallels include:

  • Sky Blue Foil /100
  • Green Mint Foil /75
  • Gold Foil /50
  • Orange Diamante Foil /25 (Hobby Box Exclusive)
  • Orange Foil /25
  • Black Foil /10
  • Black & Yellow Electric Dots Foil /10 (SDCC Exclusive)
  • Red Diamante Foil /5 (Hobby Box Exclusive)
  • Red Foil /5
  • Foilfractor 1/1

The Platinum Tier has a limited number of parallels:

  • Black Electric Dots Foil /10 (Hobby Exclusive)
  • Red Foil /5
  • Foilfractor 1/1

Autographs and Memorabilia

Collectors will chase two versions of Chrome Autographs — Comic Creators and Marvel Studios, which include signed cards from acting talent like Bradley Cooper, Hugh Jackson, and Samuel L. Jackson.

Stan Lee will have a Cut Signature card, and Spider-Man Comic Cuts feature original pictures taken from comic books dating to the 1960s and ’70s.

Inserts

There are also a pair of inserts for collectors to chase — Mass Symbiote Takeover and Cerebro.

The Symbiote Takeover cards feature characters who have bonded with various organisms — and are presented on a very eccentric design. Parallels include:

  • Gold Foil /50
  • Orange Foil /25
  • Black and Gold Foil /10
  • Red Carnage Foil /5
  • Foilfractor 1/1

Celebro inserts pay tribute to 1990s style art. Printed on Chrome technology, the cards are numbered to /99 and will have a variety of Refractor versions:

  • Orange Refractor /25
  • Black and Gold Refractor /10
  • Red Carnage Refractor 5
  • Superfractor 1/1

Exclusive to SDCC boxes are exclusive art cards of Spider-Man, Hulk, and Punisher, with art for each by Ian McDonald.

Sketch cards also return to the product, with nearly 100 artists on tap.
