2026 Panini Instant NWSL First Look Soccer is the opening salvo in a new exclusive trading card agreement between Panini and the National Women’s Soccer League
The company and the league announced a multi-year partnership on Wednesday, and Panini quickly unveiled plans for a print-on-demand, online-exclusive set that released that same afternoon at 3 p.m. EST.
The agreement further fortifies Panini’s position as the leader in trading cards for women’s sports. Panini also has exclusive licensing agreements with the WNBA and the Unrivaled women’s basketball league and has featured many women in its college-branded products.
Panini’s initial NWSL set includes 33 players, and collectors could purchase either complete sets or a complete set with a random bonus card. The extra card would be a base parallel (/5 or 1/1) or an autograph (/10 or 1/1) from top stars Casey Murphy, Mallory Swanson, Sophia Wilson, or Trinity Rodman.
Panini indicated it will produce Panini Instant cards throughout the 2026 NWSL season, which runs from March 13 to November 21. A release also stated that the licensing agreement includes “trading card products featuring some of [Panini’s] most popular brands … and an Official Sticker Collection.”
