2026 Baseball Cards: What’s in Store
When it comes to fully licensed MLB cards, it’s all Topps. Its parent company, Fanatics, continues to hold the exclusive license for both the league and Player’s Association. This means that Topps products are the only ones where you can find cards of players in their full uniforms and with team names and logos. While other companies may have active veterans here and there, Topps sets are the only place to find them en masse.
Other companies like Panini and Leaf make baseball cards, but their sets largely center on past stars, prospects, or a combination of the two due to licensing constraints.
Fanatics does not typically announce new sets too far in advance. This means info on specific products and dates can be unknown until a month or so before a product comes out. Sometimes, there is even less notice, so just because you don’t see a product you love on this calendar doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s not coming out in 2026.
