2026-27 Upper Deck Artifacts Hockey Details
Upper Deck Artifacts Hockey has become known for its wide range of possibilities, and the 2026-27 version maintains that reputation.
Whether it’s the multi-level base set, lengthy list of parallels, bounty chases, rookie redemptions, autographs, or memorabilia cards that you want, Artifacts delivers.

In every hobby box, collectors can expect a combined two autographs, memorabilia cards, or tech inserts; four serial-numbered base cards or base parallels; either a Rookie Redemption card or acetate insert; and an Aurum bounty card.
2026-27 Upper Deck Artifacts Hockey Checklist Overview

This year’s Arena Artifacts (/75) set pays tribute to Alex Ovechkin with the GR8 Edition, pairing legendary moments from the NHL’s all-time leading goal scorer with relic pieces taken from seats at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.

Shutout Stubs (/10) feature ticket stubs from memorable goalie shutouts.

Inserts Overview
Collectors will be on the lookout for additional inserts in hobby boxes.
2025-26 Clear Cut Rookie Update (1:29 packs) and Clear Cut Rookies (1:48) are acetate inserts, while Antiquity (1:144) features a design inspired by glass.
Aurum inserts return as the bounty chase in Artifacts — with an expanded checklist.
Base inserts have odds of 1:48 packs, but the remainder of the 48-card set falls into tiers that are harder to find:
- Aurum Holdover Rookies (#s 49-62), 1:64
- Aurum All-Stars (#s 63-72), 1:107
- Aurum Greats (#s 73-84), 1:160
Each Aurum bounty card has a scratch-off code on the back, and collectors who enter all 84 codes online at UpperDeckBounty.com are eligible to receive cards #85 and #86. But finishing fast gives you a chance to earn more prizes.
- The first three collectors who redeem the complete 84-card Aurum Bounty set will earn a 12-card Aurum set, one Aurum Autograph card, and one Aurum Dual Autograph card.
- The next seven collectors who redeem the complete 84-card Aurum Bounty set will earn a 12-card Aurum set and one Aurum Autograph card.
- The next 15 collectors who redeem the complete 84-card Aurum Bounty set will earn a 12-card Aurum set.

Anyone else who completes the bounty set will receive only cards #85 and #86.
Rookie Redemptions
With the NHL’s strict rules on players appearing in an official regular-season game before appearing on cards, Artifacts typically releases too early to get the new season’s debut players onto the checklist.
The solution is the Rookie Redemption program, which includes team-based and wild-card rookie selections.

Collectors can find redemption cards for several parallels, autographs, or memorabilia versions in addition to regular rookie cards.
The list of players who will comprise the Rookie Redemption checklist will not be announced until later in the 2026-27 NHL season.

Seems like the Aurum odds must be wrong if there’s supposed to be one per box
