The 2025 Topps MLB MVP Collection gives collectors a premium look at two premium players — Los Angeles Dodgers two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani and New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge, the 2025 National and American League Most Valuable Players for 2025.
Boxes of the limited-edition online offering will include five encased cards numbered to /99 or fewer, with one guaranteed hit numbered to /75 or fewer.
2025 Topps MLB MVP Collection Checklist Overview
The online-exclusive product starts with a 50-card base set split up between the players to celebrate their MVPs. Ohtani has four to his credit (2021, 2023-25), while Judge has three (2022, 2024-25).
Ohtani and Judge both have seven base cards per MVP season, and the 50th card in the set is a dual-player card. Each base card is numbered to /99 and has several parallels:
- Purple Foil /75
- Gold Foil /50
- Blue Foil /35
- Orange Foil /25
- Kanji-Language Rainbow Foil /25
- Rose Gold Foil /17
- Black Foil /10
- Red Foil /5
- Foilfractor /1
The MVP Collection will include autographs, game-used relic cards, and autographed relic cards of both players.
There is one Base Autograph and one Base Autographed Memorabilia Relic card to represent each MVP season for both players. Both players also have three unsigned relic cards per MVP season.
There will also be dual autographs of both players numbered to /10 or fewer, and each player also has their own concepts within the product.
For Ohtani, collectors will search for cards from The Game. These relic cards have direct ties to Ohtani’s showing in Game 4 of the 2025 NL Championship Series, when he smashed three home runs as a batter and struck out 10 batters as the starting pitcher in a performance that made Topps Now history and helped propel the Dodgers to back-to-back World Series championships.
A special quad relic card from the set includes a game-used baseball and bases from the game.
A special Topps Dynasty Black 1/1 card includes Ohtani’s gold signature and a game-worn MLB Logoman from that night.
Judge will have special Welcome to the Club cards, celebrating his place as the 13th player in history with a trio of MVPs. Earlier in 2025, Topps had a dedicated release to celebrate Ohtani’s third MVP, which he won for the 2024 season.
Judge has 1/1 dual autographs with other players who have earned three MVPs. There are six hard-signed cards to pair Judge alongside the living players who won three MVPs and six cards signed by Judge that include a cut signature from deceased players who won three MVPs: Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Yogi Berra, Roy Campanella, Stan Musial, and Jimmie Foxx.
