2025 Panini Select WNBA Basketball Details
Following a successful launch last year, 2025 Panini Select WNBA marks a return of the popular tiered chromium brand to the women’s hardwood.
With a large base set, a multitude of colorful parallels, and plenty of chase elements, the product hits on many favorites of modern collectors.
Just like last year, collectors can expect to find three autographs or memorabilia cards and 12 Prizm parallels in every hobby box.
2025 Panini Select WNBA Checklist Overview
The most distinguishable feature of Panini’s Select brand is its tiered base set. While the company has not announced the size of the 2025 checklist, last year’s product saw 250 cards broken into Concourse, Premier Level, and Courtside tiers.
Each tier gets increasingly scarcer, both in terms of the base versions and many of the parallels. Collectors will find parallels in traditional color, as well as special patterns like Jazz (seen below), Pink Camo, White Disco, Zebra, and more.
Draft Selections Signatures return, showcasing players holding their new jerseys shortly after getting selected in the 2025 WNBA Draft.
Another returner is Courtside Action Signatures, which feature both a portrait and an in-game photo. These cards follow a similar design as last year, but the portrait photos are bigger and are placed on the left side of the card this time.
Also back are Select Pairings Signatures, horizontal issues with two player signatures on each card.
New to the product are Score Select Throwback inserts, which are inspired by a baseball design made iconic by Derek Jeter’s 1993 Select rookie card.
Among the top chases will be SSP Black Color Blast cards, a darkened twist on the company’s popular insert that uses an exploding cloud of rainbow-colored dust and a cut-out action photo for a minimalist design that pops.
