Five 2025 Panini Prizm Football SSP Inserts Collectors Are Chasing
Because some retail formats have already been available, the chase has already started for 2025 Panini Prizm Football SSP inserts and case hits, but the quest ratchets up today with the hobby release of the annual chromium product.
In addition to tough parallels from the expansive base rainbow and autographs of many of their favorite veterans and rookies, collectors will also be on the lookout for rare inserts from five familiar concepts:
- Color Blast
- Color Blast Duals
- Manga (Horizontal)
- Manga (Vertical)
- Prizmania
There are no parallels to any of these inserts.

2025 Panini Prizm SSP And Case Hit Inserts

Color Blast
A popular staple since their debut in 2019, Color Blast inserts return with a familiar tone — a great action photo and an exploding cloud of rainbow-colored dust in the background. The look of the dust ball changes from card to card, and the checklist almost exclusively features rookies and top stars. Among the 30 cards in the set, there are 12 veterans, 17 rookies, and a single legend — Sean Taylor of the Washington Redskins.

Color Blast Duals
What’s better than one player’s Color Blast card? A card with two players, of course. Introduced in 2024, Color Blast Duals bring together pairs of players from the same team and add the team logo to the center of the exploding dust ball. This year’s checklist dropped to 10 cards (there were 15 cards in the concept’s debut), and there are three types of pairings collectors can find — veteran/veteran (3 cards), veteran/rookie (4 cards), and rookie/rookie (3 cards).

Manga (Vertical)
Introduced in 2021, Panini Prizm Manga inserts are beloved by collectors. Featuring illustrations by BBKei, Manga inserts capture NFL players in the popular Japanese animation style. These cards capture a player’s likeness in ways that collectors can’t find elsewhere, and the checklist includes seven veterans, five rookies, and three legends.

Manga (Horizontal)
In 2024, Panini introduced horizontal versions of the popular inserts for the first time, and there are another 15 to chase in 2025. The horizontal layout allows for different dynamics in the illustrations — also by BBKei here — and these cards give collectors unique looks at five veterans, four legends, and six rookies.

Prizmania
Collectors first experienced Prizmania inserts in the 2023-24 Prizm basketball set, but later in the calendar year, they arrived in 2024 Prizm football. Featuring an illustrated version of a player with an oversized head, Prizmania cards have an interesting design with the bottoms of the letters in Prizmania extending all the way to the bottom of the card. There are 30 cards to collect, and like the Color Blast cards, they are almost all current stars and rookies. The checklist features 16 veterans, 12 rookies, and 2 retired stars — Ben Roethlisberger and Michael Vick.
