The 2025 baseball cards season is upon us. With it comes a fresh slate of sets, autographs, familiar faces in new places and some fresh Rookie Cards.

2025 Baseball Cards: What’s in Store
When it comes to MLB cards, it’s all Topps. Their parent company, Fanatics, continues to hold the exclusive license for both the league and Player’s Association. That means that Topps products are the only place to find cards of places in their full uniforms and with team logos. While other companies may have active veterans here and there, Topps sets are the only place to find them en masse.
Others like Panini and Leaf make baseball cards, too. But these largely center on past stars, prospects or a combination of the two.
The calendar below has two sections. The first tab has upcoming 2024 baseball card sets listed by release date. Tab two has the sets that are available and released, arranged alphabetically.
Fanatics does not typically announce new sets too far in advance. This means info on specific products and dates are unknown until a month or so before something comes out, sometimes less.
