2025-26 Upper Deck Premier Hockey Details
2025-26 Upper Deck Premier Hockey is one of the sport’s top premium lines year in and year out, and the new edition meets the standard collectors have come to expect.
Hard-signed signatures and premium and oversized memorabilia relics highlight the product, and there are several new concepts for collectors to chase this year.
Collectors can expect four hits per box — an autograph or autographed memorabilia card, an autographed patch card, and two memorabilia cards. The other two cards in each box are a base card and rookie card.
2025-26 Upper Deck Premier Hockey Checklist Overview
The base set has 150 total cards, which hail from one of three segments:
- Veterans (/249) — #s 1-90
- Greats (/99) — #s 91-100
- Rookies (/399) — #s 101-150
Two parallels cover the entire set: Gold (Veterans – /65; Greats – /25); and Rookies – /199) and Platinum (1/1). A new Black parallel (/10) covers only the rookie cards.
Select players from the base set are featured on Autograph versions (Veterans – 1:4 packs; Greats – 1:125; Rookies – 1:3), which also have Gold and Platinum parallels. Base Jersey cards include parallels with patches and new nameplate versions. Rookies, however, have shoulder number patches instead of nameplates.
Autographs
Acetate Rookie Auto Patches return as one of Premier’s sturdiest cornerstones. There are two tiers, with base versions numbered to either /249 or /99. Parallels come in two levels, Gold (/65 or /35) and Platinum (1/1).
The acetate rookie cards also come as Horizontal RPAs, with base versions at either /99 or /49, and Gold (/25 or /15) and Platinum (1/1) parallels.
Acetate Veteran Auto Patch cards bring some established star power to the checklist. There are three tiers to the checklist, with base versions numbered to /49 or fewer and Gold parallels numbered to /10 or fewer.
Other returning autographed memorabilia cards include Premier Rookie Auto Jerseys (/99 or fewer) and Premier Focus (varied numbering).
New autographed relic concepts include:
- Foremost Fabrics (/25 or fewer)
- Premier Palms (/10)
- Premier Picks (/10)
- Premier Twineline (/10)
- Ten Bells 10-Way Goalie Relics
Additional autographs include Premier Penmanship Autos (1:5 packs), Old Style Signatures (1:18 packs), Premier Focus Autographs (varied numbering), and new Blueliners Dual Autographs (/25).
Memorabilia Cards
When it comes to memorabilia cards in UD Premier, collectors know they can expect more than just traditional jersey and patch swatches.
Mega Patch cards offer some of the biggest swatches in the industry, and collectors can find versions with a variety of memorabilia beyond standard jersey patches, including chest logos, shoulder logos, sleeve numbers, and commemorative logos.
When it comes to mega-sized jersey swatches and jersey patches, collectors can find versions with two, three and four players, each numbered to /49 or fewer.
Premier Dual (/99), Triple (/49) and Quad (/25) Jerseys also offer swatches from multiple players. Patch parallels are numbered to /15 or /5 depending on the grouping.
Rookie Patch-Taculars and Dual Rookie Patch-Taculars borrow the unique memorabilia theme used in Mega Patch cards. These cards can include swatches taken from chest logos or shoulder logos.
Premier Twineline (/25) debuted last year and takes another turn. These cards include pieces of net cord from important games in a player’s career. Additional returning memorabilia themes include Premier Attractions Jersey (/99 or fewer), Premier Gear (/35 or fewer), and Premier Gear Rookies (/99 or fewer).
Four memorabilia concepts make their debut in the 2025-26 product. As mentioned previously, each of these also have autographed versions.
