2025-26 Upper Deck New York Rangers Centennial Hockey is an expansion of a set that celebrates the franchise’s first 100 years on the NHL ice. Collectors should note that it’s separate from a boxed set version issued in January 2026.

In the hobby version of the product, collectors have a bigger base set, more inserts and autographs, as well as memorabilia cards to uncover.

Collectors can expect a pair of autographs in every tin, as well as 13 numbered or short print cards and 15 inserts.

2025-26 Upper Deck New York Rangers Centennial Hockey Checklist Overview

The base set runs 200 cards, chronicling the history of the franchise, which was founded on April 17, 1926, as the “New York Giants Professional Hockey Club” by Madison Square Garden president George “Tex” Rickard. The franchise was eventually named the Rangers after the New York Herald Tribune called the team “Tex’s Rangers.” New York has won four Stanley Cups, placing them in a three-way tie for the fourth-most in NHL history.

After a run of 100 traditional base cards, the second half of the checklist is broken into a handful of subsets, which combine to land 30 per tin.

  • Retired Numbers: #s 101-111
  • Hall of Famers: #s 112-146
  • Award Winners: #s 147-171
  • Captains: #s 172-185
  • Team Record Holders: #s 186-200

Base cards have two numbered parallels: True To The Blue (/1926) and Cup Celebration (/94).

Select players from the base set have Blue Autograph parallels (1:16 packs), while another common autograph concept is Broadway Blue Signatures (1:18), which also has rare Inscription versions, as well as Dual- (/25), Triple- (/10), and Quad- (/5) signed offerings. Pictured In Time Autographs (1:120) is another standalone signature set.

Three of product’s inserts also have autograph parallels, including:

  • 34th Street (1:80 packs)
  • Hey, Hey, Hey! (1:90)
  • Broadway Bruisers (1:180)

The ink continues to flow onto memorabilia cards.

Upper Deck has embedded slices of seat cushions from Madison Square Garden into Blue Seat Memories relic cards (/5), which also have autographed versions (/3). Ticket To Greatness relics (/5) include a piece of an authentic ticket from a notable moment of Wayne Gretzky’s career, including signed versions (/3).

A select few collectors will uncover Broadway Blue Cut Signatures.

Blueshirt Materials (1:80 packs) include jersey swatches of prominent players, and collectors will search for Duals (1:1,000), Triples (1:1,200), and Quads (1:5,000). All levels have low-numbered Premium parallels. Century Relics (1:500) is a tougher memorabilia find.

Collectors can expect 15 inserts per 15-pack tin, and they will come from the following concepts, which all have Red (/49) and Blue (/10) parallels:

  • 34th Street (1:3 packs)
  • Hey, Hey, Hey! (1:3)
  • Broadway Bruisers (1:7)
  • Line ‘Em Up (1:10)
