2025-26 Upper Deck Detroit Red Wings Centennial Hockey is an expansion of a set that celebrates the franchise’s first 100 years on the NHL ice. Collectors should note that it’s separate from a boxed set version issued in November 2025.

In the hobby version of the product, collectors have a bigger base set, more inserts and more autographs, as well as memorabilia cards to uncover.

Collectors can expect a pair of autographs in every tin, as well as a dozen parallels and 17 total inserts.

2025-26 Upper Deck Detroit Red Wings Centennial Hockey Checklist Overview

The base set runs 200 cards, chronicling the history of the franchise, which was founded on September 26, 1926, as the Cougars. The Red Wings have since become one of the most prestigious franchises in NHL history. Their 11 Stanley Cups rank third all-time.

After a run of 100 traditional base cards, the second half of the checklist is broken into a handful of subsets, which combine to land 30 per tin.

  • HOFers: #s 101-133 (1:1 packs)
  • Trophy Winners: #s 134-165 (1:3)
  • Captains: #s 166-180 (1:3)
  • Team Leaders: #s 181-193 (1:4)
  • Retried Numbers: #s 194-200 (1:7)

Base cards have two parallels, and collectors will get plenty in every tin.

Cougars parallels, which feature an olde English “D” in the logo box, have a print run of 1,926 and come an average of 12 per tin.

A more challenging pull is the Centennial parallel, numbered to /100.

Select players from the base set have Red Autograph parallels (1:18 packs), while another common autograph concept is Octopus Ink (1:15), which also has rare Inscription versions numbered to /35, as well as Dual- (/49) and Triple- (/25) signed offerings. Stanleytown Signatures (1:120) is another standalone autograph set.

The product’s inserts each have autograph parallels, including:

  • Hockeytown Heroes (1:80 packs)
  • Believing In South Detroit (1:240)
  • Everyone From The 313 (1:240)
  • Smash Hits (1:360)

The ink continues to flow onto memorabilia cards.

Upper Deck has embedded slices of seats from both Joe Louis Arena (/13) and Olympia Stadium (/10) into cards of 15 players who had magical moments in each arena. Ten players from Joe Louis Arena have signed cards (/5), while nine players have signatures alongside Olympia Stadium relics (/4).

Big Ticket cards (/15 or fewer) feature a piece of an authentic ticket, and 11 players have autographed versions (/15 or fewer).

A select few collectors will uncover Cut Signatures (/3 or fewer).

Motor City Materials (1:60 packs) include jersey swatches of prominent players, while a Premium Materials parallel (/25 or fewer) covers most of the 60-card set with prime patches or stick relics.

Collectors can expect 15 inserts per 15-pack tin. In addition, there should be two Red insert parallels, while a chase is the Centennial parallel (/100).

  • Believing In South Detroit (Base 1:5; Red – 1:38)
  • Everyone From The 313 (Base 1:5; Red – 1:38)
  • Smash Hits (Base – 1:10; Red – 1:75)
