2025-26 Upper Deck Clear Cut Hockey Details
2025-26 Upper Deck Clear Cut box breaks won’t take long, but with dozens of autograph possibilities inside, collectors enjoy the risk/reward nature of the single-card boxes.
Almost every card is autographed – if it’s not, collectors still get a redemption for an autographed version – and Upper Deck uses current and retro designs throughout the product to give it plenty of variety.
All signatures in the eighth year of the product are hard-signed onto the cards, which are printed on acetate and come encased in boxes.
2025-26 Upper Deck Clear Cut Hockey Checklist Overview
The product starts with a slate of base autos that utilize the design from the 2025-26 Upper Deck flagship set.
Clear Cut’s base set is still broken into three segments, but the pack odds are a little different this year – Veterans (1:12 packs), Greats (1:120 packs), and Rookies (varied serial-numbering), which had pack odds of 1:4 packs in the 2024-25 product.
Also mimicking the flagship set are three parallels that cover each segment of the base checklist – Outburst (/25), High Gloss (/10), and Gold Outburst (1/1).
UD Canvas inserts also get a Clear Cut upgrade (1:10 packs), with Red Ink parallels numbered to match a player’s jersey number and 1/1 Gold Ink versions also on board.
UD Canvas Rookie Debuts are the only non-autographed cards collectors will find in the product. That said, they come with a redemption card for a rare signed version (/25) or Gold Ink (1/1) parallel.
New inserts include Booming Stars Autographs (/50), which focus on rising NHL stars, and On The Attack Autographs (1:16 packs), which have a Blue parallel (/10) and feature the top offensive forces in the league.
Other inserts are Dazzlers Autographs (1:10 packs) and vintage-themed Upper Deck Retro Autographs (1:8), which also have Red (/10) and Black (1/1) parallels.
Adding to the variety of the product are cards featuring several iconic designs from the past 30 years of Upper Deck products. Included are:

- 2000-01 SPx Spxtreme (1:50)
- 2005-06 UD Black Diamond Gemography (1:10)
- 2005-06 UD Series 2 Stars in the Making (1:15)
- 2007-08 SP Authentic Sign of the Times (1:18)
- 2008 SPx Super Scripts Dual Autos (/10)
- 2009-10 Exquisite Inscriptions (/25)
Additional concepts include: 2015-16 Artifacts Rookies, 2016-17 Trilogy Rookie Premieres, 2019-20 Ultimate Collection Rookies, 2020-21 Trilogy Rookie Premieres, 2020-21 UD Young Guns, and 2021-22 UD Young Guns. Neither pack odds nor print runs have been provided for these sets.
