2025-26 Topps NBA Hoops Basketball marks the first time the iconic brand makes an appearance under the Topps umbrella.

Originally debuted as “The Official NBA Basketball Card” for the 1989-90 season, the NBA Properties-owned brand has been produced by SkyBox International, Fleer/SkyBox, Upper Deck, and Panini in the years since.

Collectors can expect an autograph in every hobby box, and two of them in jumbo boxes.

2025-26 Topps NBA Hoops Basketball Checklist Overview

Always known as a comprehensive brand, the base checklist will run 300 cards, including subsets dedicated to season highlights, All-Stars, postseason performers, and more.

Collectors will find a wide-ranging parallel rainbow that includes numbered offerings and the following exclusives among others:

  • Green Hoops (Value Exclusive)
  • Orange Hoops (Hanger Exclusive)
  • Fanatics Foil (Fanatics Blaster Exclusive)

With the goal of achieving broad appeal among all collectors, Topps has loaded the product with plenty of insert concepts, and made autographs available in both hobby and retail formats.

Topps takes collectors all the way back to the first Hoops product with 1989 Throwback Autographs, which are set to the simplistic design that was originally amplified by the first David Robinson rookie card on the market. Robinson also makes an appearance in the new set.

Additional signatures can be found in:

  • Rookie Signatures
  • Hoops Signs
  • Dual Autographs
  • Triple Autographs

Exclusive to retail formats are Hyper Signatures and Rookie First Signs.

Collectors will have plenty of inserts to uncover, including common finds and tough chases.

Finals Pursuit, Oasis, and Hoopnotic are among the SP chases, as are retail exclusives like Block By Block and Boom Shaka Laka.

Dunk-umentory cards showcases top dunkers from today’s game and throughout history on a movie-style design.

Additional inserts include Bounce House, Checkmate, Hoopers, Joy, and Next Episode.

Retail finds include Boombastic, Hardwired, Jam-Packed, and The Buzz.

Wow Topps has done something – Keeping the Hoops brand alive – Totally a big surprise – Look forward to this set.
Also Hoping the Score Football brand could still survive somehow

  2. Pistons fan 15 April, 2026 at 12:02

ok the regular season is over and Topps gives me, a genuine Pistons fan, Malik Beasley and Jaden Ivey. No Detroit card of Duncan Robinson, Jennings, Javonte Green or even LeVert. I really mis Panini.
