2024-25 Upper Deck Premier Hockey Details
2024-25 Upper Deck Premier Hockey cards get their name from the simple fact that they represent one of the sport’s most high-end lines. On-card autographs and premium memorabilia are among the highlights on the checklist.
Four of the six cards in every hobby box carry signatures, swatches or a combination of the two. This includes an autographed patch card and another autograph.
2024-25 Upper Deck Premier Hockey Checklist Overview
The base set has 150 total cards, which are broken down into three sections: 90 Veterans (/299), 10 Greats (/99), and 50 Rookies (/399). Gold parallels are numbered to 25 for vets and legends, and 175 for rookies. All also have one-of-one Platinum versions.
Boxes have two base cards or standard parallels, one each from Veterans or Greats and Rookies.
Select base cards also have autograph versions (Veterans – 1:4 packs, Greats – 1:125 packs, Rookies – 1:4 packs), which also have Gold and Platinum parallels. Base Jersey cards include parallels with patches, neckline pieces and other premium relics.

Autographs
Acetate Rookie Auto Patch cards remain one of Premier’s cornerstones. Depending on the player, these are numbered to 249 or 99. Parallels come in two levels, Gold (/65 or /35) and Platinum (1/1).

Rookies also have Horizontal autographed patch cards. These are more rare, numbered to 99 and under. Gold (/25 or less) and Platinum (1/1) versions appear for these as well.
Acetate Veteran Auto Patch cards bring some established star power to the checklist. None of these have more than 49 copies.
Other autographed memorabilia cards in 2024-25 Upper Deck Premier Hockey include Premier Focus Auto Patch, Rookie Premier Focus Auto Patch (/99 or less), Viewpoints Auto Patch (/99), 2004 Premier Auto Jersey (/99 or less), First Opus Rookie Auto Jersey (/35), Grand Opus Auto Jersey (/15), and 2004 Premier Rookie Auto Patch (/15).
Premier Focus Autographs, Premier Penmanship Autos (1:5 packs) and Old Style Signatures (1:18 packs) are among the other places to find signed cards.
Memorabilia Cards
One of the things that helps set Premier Hockey apart is its memorabilia inserts. Some of these go beyond basic jersey pieces. This shows with both the type of memorabilia and the size of the swatches.
Mega Patch cards are among the biggest, using pieces from chest logos, shoulder logos, sleeve numbers and commemorative logos.

The Mega theme carries over to jersey and patch cards with two, three and four players. Mega Jersey Duos have 49 copies each and print runs go down from there.
Premier Dual (/99), Triple (49) and Quad (/25) Jerseys offer more multi-player memorabilia. These have patch parallels as well.
Rookie Patch-Taculars and Dual Rookie Patch-Taculars use a similar concept as Mega Patch cards, using pieces from chest logos, shoulder logos and premium patches.

One of the new additions to the 2024-25 Upper Deck Premier Hockey checklist is Premier Pieces. These go outside the jersey and patch box with relics from other equipment like pants (/35), helmets (/35), equipment bags (/35), hockey socks (/35) and skates (/15).

Premier Twineline (/25) also makes its debut. These have pieces of net cord from important games in players’ careers.

Additional memorabilia themes include Premier Attractions Jersey (/99 or less), Premier Gear (/49 or less), Premier Gear Rookies (/99 or less), First Opus Rookie Jersey (/149) and Grand Opus Jersey (/149).
