2022 Panini Prizm WWE launches the card maker’s new wrestling license. For starters, it’s Prizm, a brand that is a juggernaut in several sports. Chromium card stock makes everything shine. For wrestling card collectors, it’s in the same vein as Topps Chrome and Finest. Current and retired superstars are part of the checklist.
2022 Panini Prizm WWE Checklist Overview
The base set has 200 cards, which is divided evenly between horizontal and vertical layout. Stars from Raw, SmackDown, NXT 2.0 and NXT UK are all on the checklist. So are some big-name retired legends.
Notable first appearances include Bron Breakker and 2020 Olympic gold medalist, Gable Steveson.
Extending from the base set is a long list of Prizms parallels. These make things even brighter and more colorful with their different colored borders and rainbow backgrounds. Hobby boxes come with at least 20 total Prizms. Among the toughest are Mojo (/25) that have an additional background pattern, Gold (/10) and Black (1/1).

2022 Panini Prizm WWE Autographs and Inserts
Autographs land two per box. Among them are Champion Signatures that highlight title holders, both current and from the past. There’s also Superstars Autographs.
Iconic Rivals Dual Autographs have two signatures. The set lives up to its name with such pairings as “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Bret Hart, Triple H and Shawn Michaels, and Becky Lynch and Charlotte.
Color Blast inserts are synonymous with Prizm. These are tough pulls and, historically, among the product’s most coveted cards. The 10-card checklist is also strong with such stars as Roman Reigns, John Cena and Alexa Bliss.
Other insert themes on the 2022 Panini Prizm WWE checklist include Fearless, Prizmatic Entrances, WWE Gold, and WWE Next Level. These four sets also have Silver Prizms, Green Prizms, Green Pulsar Prizms (/25), Mojo Prizms (/25), Gold Prizms (/10) and Black Prizms (1/1) parallels.

They really expect people to pay $800 a box for this? Goodluck with that.
Yeah $800 is a discusting price. Talk about product manipulation at it’s finest.
Topps most expensive was Undisputed, which was advertised a premium product with 8 AUTOGRAPHS… and even that sold at $275 ish MSRP.
Most of WWE hobby boxes sell for under $200… there isn’t any cards that is going to yield over a few hundred so GOOD LUCK making any money off WWE…
Price is way too high, especially for 2 sticker autos. Hopefully future panini releases are a lot cheaper otherwise I’ll be giving up collecting all together or I’ll just stick to vintage wrestling cards!
