2022-23 Bowman’s Best University Basketball offers collectors another chance at chasing chromed out cards of some of the game’s top prospects — including Victor Wembayama. Each hobby box includes a pair of autographs, more than a dozen Refractors and an assortment of other inserts.
2022-23 Bowman’s Best University Basketball Checklist Overview
The 100-card base set is a mix of men’s and women’s collegiate standouts. Some are en route to the 2023 NBA Draft while others will be sticking around the school ranks for at least another year.
Like 2022-23 Bowman Chrome University, the product is done on chromium stock giving it the familiar metal look and feel. However, Bowman’s Best opts for a busier design with more color integrated into it.

Dual Autographs (/25) and Triple Autographs (/15) offer up signatures from multiple players. These have Red Refractor (/5) and Superfractor (1/1) versions as well.
2022-23 Bowman’s Best University Basketball has a handful of other insert sets, most of which use bold designs in one form or another.
Hardwood Warriors (1:3 packs), Flashing Lights (1:6 packs) and Neon Neophytes (1:6 packs) can all be expected in every hobby box.
Collectors should also find one Bowman U Buckets Die-Cut per box (1:12 packs).
Parallels for all four of these include Speckle Refractors (1:96 packs), Lava Refractors (/50) and Superfractors (1/1). Bowman U Buckets, Flashing Lights and Neon Neophytes also have autographs for select cards. Base versions for the signed cards have 99 copies plus Speckle Refractors (/25) and Superfractors (1/1).
Bowman Masterpieces are a little tougher at 1:18 packs, which translates into roughly two for every three hobby boxes. Speckle Refractors here are 1:192 pack. Lava Refractors (/50) and Superfractors (1/1) are also available as well as autographs.
The toughest inserts in 2022-23 Bowman’s Best University Basketball are Constellations of Greatness, which land 1:480 packs. One-of-one Superfractors are the lone standard parallels here. Autographs have just 10 copies each plus Superfractors (1/1).
