2021 Upper Deck National Sports Collectors Convention Wrapper Redemption Checklist and Details
The 2021 Upper Deck National Sports Collectors Convention wrapper redemption might feel a bit different than recent years, but it still brings the familiar promo set content.
As a company, Upper Deck won’t have a full display in Chicago. However, they are still going to have a lot going on in other ways, much of which will emanate from the GTS Distribution booth.
That includes the annual wrapper redemption promo set. To get an exclusive black Summer Promo pack, collectors will have to buy a 2020-21 Upper Deck hobby box from one of the company’s Diamond Dealers at the show. All 2020-21 Upper Deck products count.
Every pack has four cards — two Prominent Cuts and two Top Shelf Rookies.
The Prominent Cuts checklist has ten cards and covers a variety of sports. Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Tiger Woods and Wayne Gretzky.
Top Shelf Rookies has another ten players. If you look at the list, you’ll notice that they feature last year’s standouts. There’s a reason for that. The cards were actually planned for 2020 but the pandemic caused a lot of promotions to get bumped.
Autographs for both parts of the checklist are also available.
Finally, there’s a third section to the 2021 Upper Deck National Sports Collectors Convention wrapper redemption checklist — Draft Retrospective. These four cards highlight New Jersey Devils players, which would have coincided with the cancelled 2020 National in Atlantic City.
