2021 Topps Heritage Mega Boxes Have Collectors Seeing Blue and Red
Between hobby and retail, 2021 Topps Heritage has quite a few different options for buying packs. One that’s starting to surface is a pair special Mega Boxes that deliver some exclusive Chrome Blue Sparkle and Red cards.
2021 Topps Heritage Walmart Mega Box
Mega Boxes with the Chrome Blue Sparkle cards are available at Walmart (and possibly elsewhere). The bulk of the box is 15 packs of 2021 Heritage Baseball, each with nine cards. Three Chrome Blue Sparkle inserts are included among them.
The Mega Box in question is square in shape. The Blue Sparkle cards are mentioned on the top and sides.
Blue Sparkle cards parallel the 100 Chrome inserts in the product.
2021 Topps Heritage Target Mega Box
The 2021 Topps Heritage Baseball Mega Box found at Target is different. For starters, it has 17 packs.
The bonus here is three Red cards. These aren’t Chrome cards but rather parallels of the base set. It appears as though it covers the entire base set checklist including short prints.
The Target Mega Box is rectangular in shape and has an “only at Target” note on the front. The Red parallels are mentioned elsewhere on the box.
Rather than an extra pack in the Walmart box, the blue sparkles are found as the last card in three of the 15 packs.
The retail mega boxes I have picked up say they include 15 packs with an ‘exclusive bonus pack’ that includes 3 Topps Chrome cards, but that extra pack was nowhere to be found in my box….
