2021 Onyx Premium Baseball Is All Autographs But It’s More Than Prospects
Like their other sports cards sets, 2021 Onyx Premium Baseball is heavy on two things, autographs and prospects. On the autograph front, that’s actually the entire product here. Every card has a signature. It’s the prospect piece that’s not exclusive. The presence might not be large, but the checklist also has a big-name veteran and a beloved Hall of Famer.
2021 Onyx Premium Baseball Checklist Overview
All levels of prospects are in the set. There are players on the cusp of the majors. Top 2021 draft picks like Henry Davis, Jackson Jobe and Marcelo Mayer are also on the checklist. Looking even further down the line, a handful of players are still a year or two away from joining a pro franchise.

The veteran? 2021 American League MVP, Shohei Ohtani.
The Hall of Famer? Cal Ripken Jr.
All autographs in the product come with on-card signatures. They’re available in a variety of levels:
- Silver Foil – /125 or fewer
- Blue Foil – /55 or fewer
- Gold Foil – /25 or fewer
- Black Foil – /10 or fewer
- Black Ink – 1/1
A small number of inscriptions can also be found. In Ohtani’s case, there are also autographs done in Kanji.
