2021 Bowman Draft 1st Edition Baseball Gets a Stealth Release – Partial Checklist Added

Share:

With the main set delayed a few weeks, 2021 Bowman Draft 1st Edition Baseball is poised to offer a glimpse at the players collectors will be looking for.

At this point not a lot is known, but the configuration looks similar to what has been used for other Bowman 1st Edition releases over the last couple of years.

Basically, the cards are pretty much exactly like those that will eventually be found in 2021 Bowman Draft Baseball. There is one small difference, though, with the addition of a “1st Edition” stamp. From a collecting standpoint, Bowman 1st Edition cards are noticeably tougher to find over the long term.

Specifics on players are still a mystery but Bowman Draft is a product that’s largely the year’s draft picks. It’s safe to assume that will be the case again here with the 200-card checklist drawing heavily from the 2021 MLB Draft.

Like 2021 Bowman 1st Edition Baseball, there are parallels:

  • Sky Blue Foil – 1:2 packs
  • Blue Foil – 1:7 packs
  • Yellow Foil – 1:14 packs
  • Gold Foil – 1:21 packs
  • Orange Foil – 1:42 packs
  • Red Foil – 1:210 packs
  • Rainbow Foil – 1:1,047 packs

Chrome Autographs are also available, albeit at tough 1:247 odds.

2021 Bowman Draft 1st Edition Baseball is available through select shops and online dealers. The Topps website also had some boxes, although they sold out quickly. It’s worth noting the hobby boxes have 24 packs. Those sold directly by Topps were advertised as having 50 packs.
