2020 Topps MLB The Show Baseball Checklist and Details

The year was 2020. A pandemic blanketed the globe and people were stuck at home. Video games were played. A lot. While not even close to the real thing, a group of major leaguers getting together and connecting via Playstation and XBox was as close to baseball as some could get. 2020 Topps MLB The Show Baseball is a mini set covering players playing video games.

Part of the Topps On-Demand line, sets were available on the Topps website for a month starting on May 15. The base set has 30 cards covering participants in the MLB The Show 20 Players League. The faced off against each other in a video game tournament ultimately won by Tampa Bay pitcher Blake Snell.

A basic version with an open print run cost $19.99. There’s also an autograph version that was $37.49. Each of these came with an additional autographed card from one of nine players.
