2020 Topps Garbage Pail Kids Skateboard Stickers Checklist and Details
Of all the Garbage Pail Kids sets released over the years — and there have been a lot of them — the vast majority fit into a layout formula that hasn’t really changed much. And then there’s 2020 Topps Garbage Pail Kids Skateboard Stickers, a definite exception.
The mini set, which as an online-exclusive, is more about pop art reinterpretations of classic GPK characters with the idea that they could be slapped on the bottom of a deck. Of course, there’s a better chance that most will make their way into binder pages and a variety of card boxes.
Available for a week on the Topps website from September 17-24, it’s a mini set with just ten cards. All use the entire front for art with a few different styles. They bold, bright and very different from the average set of Garbage Pail Kids. Yet, they’re unmistakable as well.
It’s a print-on-demand release that sold 1,025 sets. Each was $19.99.
