2020 Topps Attax Baseball Checklist and Details
2020 Topps Attax Baseball tries to be all fun and games. Offered as an online-exclusive through the company’s website, it marks the return of the trading card game to the diamond.
The idea is a pretty simple one. It’s not exactly Pokemon or Magic: The Gathering but the dual concept of collecting cards and playing with them are both there.

The two-player game revolves around scoring runs. Players use a deck of 15 cards — nine batters and six pitchers. However, similar to a lot of fantasy sports, players are assigned values and players have to balance their roster by not going “over budget.” Cards are drawn and the person with the stronger card in the selected category get a point. The highest score after six innings wins. Chance cards add another layer to strategy.

Topps Attax is a fast-paced game that shouldn’t take long.
2020 Topps Attax launches with a $19.99 starter set. Insider is a full set of a dozen Big Leaguers and 18 Impact Players. Adding a small chase element are Superstar cards. While the full set has ten players, only two are in each starter box.

2020 Topps Attax Baseball Booster Packs
Each week a new booster pack will be available on the Topps website allowing players and collectors to expand their decks. These will run for 20 weeks with each pack coming with five cards.
These break down further to:
- Big Leaguers – 35
- Impact Players – 40
- Superstars – 20
- Legends – 5
This is the first Topps Attax Baseball set since 2011. The card game had a three-year run starting in the sport. The Attax line has continued over the years, primarily in Europe with soccer, wrestling and various entertainment properties.
