2020 Topps Archives Snapshots Baseball Checklist, Team Set Lists and Details
2020 Topps Archives Snapshots Baseball brings the photography-focused line back again as an online-exclusive. Boxes are small with just 12 cards each. However, one is guaranteed to be an autograph.
The main premise of Archives Snapshots is that it uses images from Topps’ vault. It’s not necessarily the unique action shots of Stadium Club, but they are photos that haven’t been heavily used.
In adopting the Archives name, that also means a somewhat eclectic approach to the checklist. While not big at 50 cards, it is multi-generational. And some of the stars are more local favorites from the past rather versus all-time legends.
In addition to the promised autograph, boxes also have one Black and White base set parallel. Other parallels include Blue (/50), Gold (/10) and Black (1/1).
Base Autographs feature on-card signatures. Signers come from a few different eras, similar to the main Archives line and its Fan Favorites Autographs.
2020 Topps Archives Snapshots Baseball has one additional insert set, Walk-Off Wires. It totals 25 cards with 12 having autograph versions as well. These showcase 25 game-ending hits with a design inspired by wire photos. While base versions have black and white shots, there is a Color Image parallel that is numbered to 25. Gold (/10) and Black (1/1) versions also exist.
Members of Topps’ 582 Montgomery Club got early access to the product on Thursday, September 17. The following day it was made available to the general public, selling out quickly. Boxes originally cost $25.

Hey, but at least we got Ed Kranepool and Steve Rogers included. Not that I mind the inclusion of under-represented older players, but no team should ever be excluded. Every team has fans, not just the Dodgers and Yankees.
@JDonovan – This is also a set with 50 cards in the base set. Doesn’t excuse it, but a little easier to see why it might happen. As an Expos collector, I personally don’t mind they were left out of some releases towards their end. I didn’t want to collect team sets from every set. This is one I’m actually wishing I didn’t have to track down, particularly for a random Steve Rodgers.
Any information on what the cards look like this year. I got 3 packs wanted to buy another 2 but they sold out in less than the 3 hours from my order.
