2019 Topps X Fernando Tatis Jr. 0.23 Baseball Checklist and Details
2019 Topps X Fernando Tatis Jr. 0.23 Baseball is a curated set with the card maker working with the high-profile Padres rookies. Similar to a set done between Topps and Vladimiar Guerrero, it was available exclusively through the Topps website for a limited time.
Each pack has ten cards from a 50-card base set, which is broken down into four different subsets. Tatis worked with Topps to determine the themes, designs and players on the checklist. The end result is something meant to be more personalized and offer some insight into Tatis.
Icons of the Dominican Republic features 15 players from the region. Tatis Jr. is joined by his dad here. En Nino highlights seven players and their nicknames. Mochalo is all about celebrations, including a jersey-ripping Michael Conforto. Finally, there’s Style and Swag, 23 players who were stars on and off the field.
Every other pack has a parallel including Blue, Black and White (/10) and Gold (1/1).
Autographs and relics combine to land 1:2.5 packs. Autographs are basically base cards with signatures added and slightly different numbering on the back.
Relics all have gear used by Tatis Jr. and go beyond just jerseys. Things like headbands, cleats, batting gloves and socks are also in the mix.
2019 Topps X Fernando Tatis Jr. 0.23 Baseball has a print run of 7,503 packs, which is how many were ordered during the set’s sales window.
