2018 Topps Pro Debut Baseball Variations Gallery

The 2018 Topps Pro Debut Baseball Variations may not get as much attention as the ones in, say, 2018 Topps Baseball or 2018 Topps Heritage, but they are out there. And they feature short prints of some of baseball’s bigger prospects.

Unlike a lot of sets, there’s no guesswork in who has SSP image variations in 2018 Topps Pro Debut Baseball. That’s because the card maker included a full list of names on the initial checklist. It totals 15 cards including Ronald Acuna, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Gleyber Torres.

2018 Topps Pro Debut Variations are tough, but not impossible to pull. They land 1:100 packs, which is slightly tougher than every fourth box. One-of-one Black parallels work out to 1:18,934 packs.

Spotting 2018 Topps Pro Debut Baseball Variations with the Code on the Back

The code method of spotting variations is in play with 2018 Topps Pro Debut Baseball.

To use this, flip over to the back and point your eyes directly to the fine print. It’s intended for production purposes primarily, but the codes at the end of the text block can differentiate types of cards. Here, it’s how to tell regular base cards from the SSP variations.

Common base cards end in 144. If you have a variation, the code ends in 154.
