2018 Topps On Demand Rookie Sensations Baseball Checklist and Details

Share:

2018 Topps On Demand Rookie Sensations Baseball is an online mini set. Featuring only first-year players, it was a near-instant sell out on the Topps website.

While autographs and other cards from Shohei Ohtani were likely a big reason why, the checklist does cover several of big rookies beyond that.

Running $75 initially direct from Topps, each set included 34 total cards.

It starts with a 30-card base set. Besides Ohtani, Ronald Acuña Jr., Gleyber Torres and Rhys Hoskins are among those on the checklist. Parallels come in five levels: Green (/50), Purple (/25), Blue (/10), Red (/5) and Gold (1/1).

Each 2018 Topps On Demand Rookie Sensations set also has an autograph. The vast majority of players in the main set have signatures. Parallels here are limited to Blue (/10), Red (/5) and Gold (1/1).

Seven Alternate Photo cards offer up scarce variations. For the most part, these alternate fairly distinct shots of a player like one batting and one fielding.

Seven Rookie Teammates inserts simply pair up two players from the same team.

Parallels, variations and Rookie Teammates cards combine to land three per set.

The total print run for 2018 Topps On Demand Rookie Sensations is 1,700 sets.
