2018 Topps On Demand MLB Postseason Baseball takes a look at the road to the World Series with a limited edition, online-only offering.
Available exclusively on the Topps website, there’s a small base set that’s bolstered by a handful of insert additions.
For $75 collectors received a full 30-card main set, a pair of parallels, three inserts (one each from three different thematic sets) and an autograph.
The 30-card base set revolves entirely around current players from playoff-bound teams. Individual teams are represented with two to five cards.
Base parallels come in four levels. One isn’t numbered but the others are /10, /5 and 1/1 (names of the parallels were not given during the 2018 Topps On Demand MLB Postseason sales window).
Two dozen players have signatures in the release. Signers are a mix of current and retired players. Highlights include Kris Bryant, Albert Pujols and Jim Thome. There’s also one of the earliest Max Muncy autographs to come from Topps.
The three insert sets in 2018 Topps On Demand MLB Postseason are Postseason Traditions (ten cards), Postseason Heroes (12 cards) and a nine-card puzzle.
A total of 874 sets were ordered.
