2018 Score Football kicks off a new NFL card season with its traditional large checklist including lots of Rookie Cards. Also back is the hobby jumbo box format that delivers four autographs and dozens of inserts.
2018 Score Football Base Set
At 440 total cards, the main 2018 Score Football set is big. But it’s not necessarily difficult to put together. Packs have lots of base cards. For example, you get at least eight Rookie Cards in every 40-card hobby pack. But while base cards are plentiful, you won’t get a full set in a single hobby box.
Similar to recent years, the base set checklist breaks down to include 330 veterans and 110 rookies. This is the first NFL-licensed set for the 2018 draft class. That said, rookies are featured in their college uniforms as the release date coincides closely with the draft itself.
Parallels come in several levels, combining to land approximately one per hobby pack or ten per box. Four of these parallels are numbered.
Autographs and Inserts
Mirroring the base set, collectors will find a deep Rookie Signatures checklist. The design of these is similar to the base set.
Inscriptions return for another year. Numbered to 25 or less, these spotlight veteran and retired signatures.
Also rare are Dual Draft Signatures. These have a pair of autographs from players taken in the same year.
2018 Score Football hobby packs have three or four regular inserts as well. These come in several themes including Celebration, a nod to the NFL relaxing its stance on in-game festivities.
Others include All Hands Team, NFL Draft, Fantasy Stars, Captains, Scoreboard, Color Rush and Huddle Up.
