2018 Rittenhouse Lost in Space Archives Series 2 not only fills in the gaps from Series 1 but adds new content as well. The premium factory set primarily mixes a couple of things, art and autographs.
Like the first release, it takes a sort of premium factory set approach. So there’s a base set in every configuration but the inserts and autographs can change.
2018 Rittenhouse Lost in Space Archives Series 2 Overview
The 42-card base set covers episodes not in the first set. They’re imagined as pop art posters with work from Juan Ortiz. The approach is similar to the Portfolio Prints releases for both Star Trek: TOS and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
From there, you get one of two different insert sets. The first features more from Juan Ortiz, seven Character Posters.
The other is a series of nine Ron Gross Painted Art Cards. These showcase some of the top moments from the original television series. Those buying a pair of sets from Rittenhouse received both insert sets.
As for the autographs, they come in a couple of types. Inscription Autographs return with signatures and small additional quotes and notes from Angela Cartwright, Mark Goddard and June Lockhart. Each set has two of the three signers, although each has multiple inscriptions. Like the inserts, buying two sets means at least one from each actor.
Every 2018 Rittenhouse Lost in Space Archives Series 2 set also has a Character Art Autograph. Signers here are Goddard, Marta Kristen and Billy Mumy. Buying three sets promises a full run.
One additional card rounds out each set, either a sketch card or an Autograph Costume card from Goddard.
