2017 National Sports Collectors Convention Exclusive Cards
By Ryan Cracknell | Hobby Editor
The National never has a shortage of cards. The rows upon rows of dealers are one of the big draws each year. Collectors will also have a chance to get lots of 2017 National Sports Collectors Convention exclusive cards not available anywhere else.
Some require special purchases. Others are given out simply for attending the show with the right ticket package. And you might even find some just for being somewhere at the right place at the right time.
In the weeks leading up to the 2017 National, manufacturers will be announcing their various programs and how to get their particular exclusives. We’ll keep a running list here as things are announced for easy reference.

2017 National Sports Collectors Convention Exclusive Cards
This list will continue to grow as more exclusives and promotions are announced. As more companies start making their plans known, you’ll be able to use the tabs to navigate between companies.
Leaf
Leaf has a few different 2017 National Sports Collectors Convention exclusive cards.
VIP Package
All VIP attendees receive a pair of Leaf cards not available anywhere else. One highlights Connor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather. It’s the first card to include both combatants ahead of their much-publicized August fight. The second card is a tribute to the legendary Vin Scully, the retired Los Angeles Dodgers broadcaster.
Wrapper Redemptions
Leaf has three different wrapper redemptions happening at the 2017 National.
Collectors who open a box of In the Game Used Hockey receive one of five different Jack Eichel memorabilia cards. These include parallels numbered down to one-of-one.
Those who crack an entire case at the show get a full set of the Eichel memorabilia cards plus a dual autograph from Leaf exclusives Nolan Patrick and Nico Hischier, the top two picks in the 2017 NHL Draft.
2017 Leaf Pop Century is the second product to have a wrapper redemption. Opening a box at the Leaf booth nets collectors a one-of-one Pop Century Blank Back card.
Those who bust a case get six of the Blank Backs plus a special one-of-one Pop Century autograph.
Opening any Leaf hobby box released between 2011 and now and collectors will receive a ticket to a daily draw for a Connor McGregor/Floyd Mayweather autograph card. A total of five will be given away, one for each day of the show. Collectors have to be present at the time of the draw to win.
