2017 Leaf Perfect Game National Showcase Baseball Is All Autographs of Top High School Players
The overarching theme of 2017 Leaf Perfect Game National Showcase Baseball is autograph prospecting at its earliest. Highlighting many of the country’s top high school standouts, the product’s configuration takes a bulk approach to signatures. Each box comes with 25 autograph cards.
Not only does every card in 2017 Leaf Perfect Game National Showcase come with an autograph, but they’re numbered to 50 copies or less.
The checklist is deep with 300 players. They participated at the annual event, which is a showcase for top talent at the high school level. This means plenty of first-time signers. Looking forward, players on the 2017 Leaf Perfect Game National Showcase Baseball checklist could find themselves selected in the 2018 MLB Draft.
In addition to base autographs, there are a couple of other insert themes. Among them are patch autographs and Leaf Metal cards. Parallels also run throughout the product.
2017 Leaf Perfect Game National Showcase Baseball has a total production run of 99 cases. Each has 15 boxes. This is similar to the 2016 release.

Looks like they went sticker. One of the big selling points was on card. Fail.
@Richard — The 2016 set also used stickers. It was the Leaf Metal release that was on-card.
Despite the sticker autos, it’s good to see that ALL cards are at least numbered to 50 or less which makes prospects more valuable over time. Although there is no instant value, one box can get you a handful of opportunities at getting a future Harper or Trout. For less than 100 bucks I would buy.
