2017-18 Upper Deck Synergy Color Shift Inserts Pop Up Unexpectedly

2017-18 Upper Deck Synergy Color Shift inserts may have not been on the company’s checklist or announcements for the set. But they’re out there and they look to be tough to find.

They change color, too.

Like other surprise inserts from Upper Deck, not much is known about the Synergy Color Shift cards other than they exist. Insertion rates and print runs are among the mysteries. Based on past sets, it’s unlikely Upper Deck will announce these, either. That said, they look to be about one per case.

Upper Deck did post a video on their Facebook page showing the Color Shift cards in action. Out of the pack, the background is white. Take the card outside and the sun triggers it to darken up.
