2016 Upper Deck Winter Trading Cards Checklist and Details

Once the carnage of the turkey is gone and the specter of shopping at big box stores and malls on Black Friday is in the past, there’s Small Business Saturday, a coordinated day intended to focus on local shops of all kinds. It might not have the same scope as Panini’s Black Friday set, but 2016 Upper Deck Winter is designed to be a simple way for shop owners to give back to their customers.

The ten-card checklist features a variety of Upper Deck spokesmen and hockey. That means Michael Jordan, LeBron James and Ben Simmons are mixed alongside the likes of Wayne Gretzky and Connor McDavid.

2016 Upper Deck Winter packs are being sent to select dealers to be used as giveaways and incentives. If you’re wondering if they have them, call in advance to double-check.

Each pack has eight cards. Randomly inserted in a handful of packs are coupons that can be redeemed for $250 in product from Upper Deck’s online store. That includes cards and autographed memorabilia.

I know stores that will crack the packs and keep the coupons to sell on ebay. They will likely repackage the sets to give away the base sets in team bags.

Just picked up my promotion pack. The Pack was a clear plastic which when opened contained 8 cards, not 10 cards. Anyone have any comments on that? Called the store to question the packs validity to which they said that all the packs were of the same structure i.e clear plastic with 8 cards in them. While I was there i saw two other enthusiasts being given the same packs.
