2016 Topps Baseball Complete Set hobby versions include exclusive parallels
By Ryan Cracknell | Hobby Editor
2016 Topps Series 1 Baseball might be out, but your player rainbow isn’t done — at least it won’t be until the factory set arrives. Hobby versions of the 2016 Topps Baseball Complete Set not only have the full base sets of Series 1 and 2 but a handful of exclusive parallels that aren’t available in packs.
The bulk of the 2016 Topps Baseball Complete Set is the set itself. It’s 700 cards covering the entire base set checklists of Series 1 and Series 2. Subsets, rookies, regular old player cards — they’re all there.
In addition to these is a cello pack of five cards. These are exclusive parallels that Topps has described as “foil pattern.” These parallels cover the entire set. They’re included in addition to the set itself and don’t replace their base counterparts.
Traditionally, other versions of the factory set will be made for retail and special events. These usually have their own separate bonuses.
