Thought the 2016-17 O-Pee-Chee Hockey checklist stopped at #660? Nope. Try #678. Unannounced 2016-17 O-Pee-Chee Hockey High Numbers short prints keep things going a little longer. It looks as though 18 cards are featured, spread over three subsets.
Award Winners showcases some of the honors given out in Las Vegas in June. That means several additional Patrick Kane cards as he took home plenty of hardware including the Hart Trophy as the season’s Most Valuable Player.
All-Timers highlights some of hockey’s retired greats. The eight cards reach as far back as the Original 6 Era with Milt Schmidt. Modern greats include Steve Yzerman and Dominik Hasek.
Finally, Sidney Crosby is shown the Stanley Cup on the lone Cup Captains card.
Insertion rates for the 2016-17 O-Pee-Chee High Numbers short prints haven’t been announced. These aren’t the only surprise cards in the product either. There’s also a tough set of Glo-Pee-Chee inserts.
