Following the release of the NHL Figures League app earlier this season, collectors were awaiting a new series of 2.5″ scale toys from Imports Dragon that they could virtually add to their lineups and display on their shelves.

Information has surfaced confirming the company’s lineup for the 2016-17 Imports Dragon NHL Figures series. There are 54 players to collect that can be shown off or played with as part of a physical game or within the app thanks to a scratch-off code that appears on each player’s game card.

The majority of the figures will be found in 2016-17 Imports Dragon NHL Figures blind packs with three levels of scarcity. Common figures (30 different) have a black base while the 12 uncommons are on a silver disc. The rares are easy to spot with their gold bases and there are six to collect. Specific odds to pull any particular

type are not specified.

Each 2016-17 Imports Dragon NHL Figures blind pack contains a single figure which comes with a removable stick and a game card which details their level of skill within the game and notes any addition performance enhancements such as extra rolls of the dice. Playing certain players together can result in a bonus and all of these figures are compatible for physical play with those that were released in 2015-16. An additional bonus with blind packs is 100 free tickets that can be used in the app, which is available for Android and iOs platforms.

For those looking to try out the game at home with friends or family before checking out the app, there are two different starter packs available. Each starter contains three figures, broken up equally between forwards, defensemen, and goalies. Also included is a game mat and the special dice required for play.
