2015 Topps Star Wars Journey to the Force Awakens Autographs Gallery

With the new movie inching closer and closer, the push (or Force) for new Star Wars stuff is strong. In recent months, Topps has released several sets of cards based on different parts of the franchise. But it’s a Heritage-style set that is giving collectors its first wide-spread taste of some of the new characters. That said, you’re not going to find any of them in the 2015 Topps Star Wars Journey to the Force Awakens Autographs lineup.
The comprehensive checklist has more than 40 signers covering the original trilogy, prequels and both the Rebels and Clone Wars spinoff cartoons.
The design of the 2015 Topps Star Wars Journey to the Force Awakens Autographs is a familiar. It’s based on the iconic Sticker inserts from the first set of Star Wars cards released way back in 1977. Journey to the Force Awakens has some Stickers of its own that uses the same design, although the checklist is a mix of lead characters from the original films and the new one.
While there are some major actors on the 2015 Topps Star Wars Journey to the Force Awakens Autographs checklist, most are secondary characters. Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) are the headliners.
In addition to the base versions, which have a thick green border around the character, there are Silver (black border, /50), Gold (/10), Printing Plate and Imperial Red (1/1) parallels. Things get a little complicated in that Topps has announced that not all signers appear in all levels of parallels. It also looks as though some of the signers only have numbered parallels. This looks to be the case with Hamill, Fisher and several of the other key names. Early breaks show a couple of the lesser-known signers may also be in shorter supply. Topps hasn’t confirmed exactly who the short prints are.
When 2015 Topps Star Wars Journey to the Force Awakens was first announced, it mentioned that Force Awakens actors were supposed to sign for the set. However, once the set released, they weren’t on the final checklist.
Below is a gallery with images of nearly every card in the 2015 Topps Star Wars Journey to the Force Awakens Autographs set. We’ll do our best to add the missing cards as they surface.
