*Disney Lorcana Attack of the Vine! TCG Checklist and Set Details

With the Attack of the Vine prerelease, only the last five sets, including Fabled, Whispers in the Well, Winterspell, Wilds Unknown, and Attack of the Vine, are legal in Core Constructed, and everything from Shimmering Skies through Reign of Jafar has left the format.

Rebuilding around the top end chase cards gets expensive in a hurry, but the good news is that the format is stacked with cheap, proven role players.

The Attack of the Vine metagame is still taking shape, so every card below is a staple that has carried through recent Core play and stays legal, and each one is comfortably under $10 as of this writing.

If you’re rebuilding a Core deck on a budget, this is where to start, none of these will break the bank, and all 10 are a single online order away.

Grab them before demand catches up.

10 Lorcana TCG Cards Under $10

Cheshire Cat – Inexplicable 60/204 – Whispers in the Well, Super Rare

This is one of the two most played cards in the entire format, full stop. A three cost 3/4 in Amethyst, it slots into the Amethyst/Sapphire Evasive shells sitting at the top of the meta and rarely leaves the four of slot.

For a card this ubiquitous, it stays remarkably affordable, a couple of dollars gets you a copy.

It survived the rotation untouched, so anything you buy now keeps its home in the format for a full year.

Grandmother Willow – Ancient Advisor 13/204 – Winterspell, Uncommon

A two-cost Amber mentor that shows up as a four of in Amber Evasive and aggro builds alike.

It’s the kind of early game glue that top decks lean on without anyone noticing, and because it’s an Uncommon, you can round out a set for just under $10.

Mowgli – Man Cub 19/204 – Whispers in the Well, Super Rare

Another two-drop workhorse, this time in Amber. Mowgli anchors the early curve in Amber/Amethyst Evasives, one of the format’s defining archetypes.

Despite the Super Rare stamp and heavy play, he sits around the price of a fancy coffee. One of the better value-to-impact ratios on this entire list.

Junior Woodchuck Guidebook 66/204 – Whispers in the Well, Common

A two-cost Amethyst item that’s a fixture in Amethyst/Sapphire Evasive and control decks. It’s a Common, which means it’s practically free, a full set costs pocket change, yet it earns its slot in some of the most successful lists in the format.

Merryweather – Feisty Fairy 139/204 – Wilds Unknown, Uncommon

A four-cost 4/5 in Sapphire, Merryweather is a sturdy midrange body that Sapphire/Amethyst control and evasive decks rely on to stabilize.

Great stats for the cost, a useful ally on the board, and an Uncommon you can grab for a dime. This is exactly the type of card budget builders should be hoarding while it flies under the radar.

Nani – Stage Manager 20/204 – Winterspell, Uncommon

Amber/Emerald Aggro, the Dogs decks that keep converting at events, runs Nani as a three cost 3/3 that pushes the early beatdown plan.

She’s an Uncommon hovering around a quarter, which makes her one of the cheapest ways to buy into a proven, aggressive shell.

Della’s Moon Lullaby 28/204 – Whispers in the Well, Common

A two-cost Amber song that rounds out those same Amber/Emerald aggro lists. Songs are easy to overlook, but this one is a Common you can add for a dime, and it’s a repeat inclusion in decks that win.

Bobby Zimuruski – Spray Cheese Kid 78/204 – Fabled, Uncommon

The lone Fabled card here, and a great one-drop. A one-cost 1/2 ally in Emerald with a point of lore, Bobby helps the Amber/Emerald aggro decks start questing immediately.

It’s an Uncommon around a dollar, the very definition of a cheap, curve filling role player, and a reminder that Fabled still has budget gems worth pulling forward.

Will O’ the Wisp – Forest Spirit 47/204 – Wilds Unknown, Common

Don’t sleep on this one-cost Amethyst Common.

With three willpower it’s a frustratingly sticky early blocker and quester, and it turned up in a Steel/Amethyst list that took first at a 56-player championship.

You can buy a playset for under 50 cents.

Tigger – Bouncing All the Way 37/204 – Winterspell, Common

Rounding things out is a four-cost 4/3 Amethyst body that slots into the Amethyst/Sapphire Evasive decks near the top of the meta.

Another Common you can grab for a dime. Tigger is proof that you don’t need to spend big to fill out a tier one list.
