The Dodgers signed Beltre on July 7, 1994 for a $17,000 bonus, though he did not make his pro debut until the 1997 season when he hit .284/.366/.519 with 27 doubles, 26 home runs and 99 RBI in 131 games between Single-A and High-A as a 17-year-old.
He has a team issue card in 1996, but his first widely available minor league card is part of the 1997 Best set. He is actually featured twice on the 100-card checklist, which also features a valuable early card of David Ortiz.

1997 Bowman #194 Adrian Beltre RC
Despite having not yet made his stateside debut, Beltre was the No. 30 prospect in baseball heading into the 1997 season. He reached High-A San Bernardino midway through the year, and he was 6.1 years younger than the average player in the California League.
His only Rookie Cards are featured in 1997 Bowman products, with Bowman, Bowman Chrome and Bowman’s Best options for collectors to track down.

1998 Topps #254 Adrian Beltre
A little more than two months after his 19th birthday, Beltre made his MLB debut on June 24, 1998. He hit .215 with seven home runs and 22 RBI in 77 games, but showed enough promise to open the following season as the team’s everyday third baseman.
The 1998 Topps set was light on Rookie Cards, but it does feature the first Topps flagship card for Beltre, David Ortiz, Roy Halladay and Kerry Wood featured among the three-player “Prospects” subset cards.

1999 Topps Gallery Autographs #GA2 Adrian Beltre
In his first season as an everyday player in 1999, Beltre hit .275/.352/.428 with 27 doubles, 15 home runs, 67 RBI and 84 runs scored, which coupled with his strong defense at third base made him a 3.9-WAR player in his age-20 season.
One of Beltre’s first certified autograph cards appears in the 1999 Topps Gallery set, and it features a clean design with a reasonable price point relative to some of his 1998 autographs.

2004 Bowman Heritage Threads of Greatness #AB Adrian Beltre Bat C
After going through some ups and downs during his first six seasons in the majors, Beltre exploded with a well-time contract year in 2004, hitting .334/.388/.629 with an NL-leading 48 home runs and 121 RBI. He finished runner-up in NL MVP voting and entered free agency coming off a 9.6-WAR season.
The “Threads of Greatness” insert set in 2004 Bowman Heritage featured game-used memorabilia swatches and were found in 1:12 hobby packs and 1:24 retail packs.

2005 Upper Deck MVP Jersey #AB Adrian Beltre
Following his huge 2004 season, Beltre signed a five-year, $64 million deal with the Seattle Mariners. Still only 26-years old, he hit .255/.303/.413 with 19 home runs and 87 RBI in his first season in the American League, and his time in Seattle would be a series of good-not-great performances.
The 2005 Upper Deck MVP set was the final year that Upper Deck released its entry-level set, and there were some chase cards with Jersey (1:24 packs) and Signatures (1:480 packs) inserts.

2010 Topps Allen and Ginter #308 Adrian Beltre SP
In an effort to rebuild his free agency stock following a disappointing final season in Seattle, Beltre signed a one-year, $9 million deal with the Boston Red Sox in 2010. The 31-year-old hit .321/.365/.553 with 49 doubles, 28 home runs and 102 RBI in his lone season with the team, earning his first career All-Star selection and parlaying that performance into a multi-year deal with the Texas Rangers.
The 350-card checklist for 2010 Topps Allen and Ginter features 50 short-printed cards, and Beltre was included among that group in his new Red Sox uniform.

2011 Topps Update Target Red Border #US150 Adrian Beltre
In what would go down as one of the best moves in franchise history, the Texas Rangers signed Beltre to a five-year, $80 million deal prior to the 2011 season. He racked up 29.1 WAR during his initial five seasons with the club, earning three All-Star selections and winning two Gold Gloves and two Silver Sluggers.
His first Topps card in a Rangers uniform is part of the 2011 Topps Update checklist, and I’ve opted for the Target Red Border parallel to color match his new team.

2012 Bowman Platinum Ruby #4 Adrian Beltre
Beltre had his best season in a Rangers uniform in 2012 when he hit .321/.359/.561 with 33 doubles, 36 home runs, 102 RBI and 7.2 WAR in 156 games. He finished third in AL MVP voting and solidified his standing as a bona fide superstar.
The 2012 Bowman Platinum set provides another color match opportunity with a Ruby parallel version to the base set that was found in 1:20 packs and is the toughest pull of three different colored parallels to the base set.

Beltre played eight total seasons with the Rangers, racking up 41.1 of his 93.5 WAR during that final stretch of his career. He finished with 3,166 hits, 477 home runs and 1,707 RBI in 21 seasons, establishing himself as one of the greatest third baseman in MLB history.
His 2019 Stadium Club base card is a fitting farewell to his playing career, and also comes in six different colored parallels.
