These black and white (with some red trim and text) photo-like cards feature players from all three Cincinnati major league sports teams of that time: Cincinnati Reds baseball (BB1-BB20), Cincinnati Bengals football (FB1-FB5), and Cincinnati Royals basketball (BK1-BK2). The cards measure approximately 4" by 5" or 3-3/4" by 5-1/2" and were issued over a period of years. The cards are blank backed and a "Mr. Whopper" card was also issued in honor of the 7'-3" company spokesperson. The Tom Rhoads football card was only recently discovered, in 2012, adding to the prevailing thought that these cards were issued over a period of years since its format matches some of the baseball cards and not the other four more well-known football cards in the set. Joe Morgan was also recently added to the checklist indicating that more cards could turn up in the future. This card follows the same format as Gullett, May, Perez, and Tolan (all measuring 3-3/4" by 5-1/2") missing the team's logo on the cap, missing the team's nickname in the text, and missing the company's slogan below the image. Some collectors believe this style to be consistent with a 1972 release. [Collapse]
