1999-00 Upper Deck Gold Reserve was packaged as a two-series release. Series one contained 170 cards and series two contained 180 cards. Base cards use the same design as the basic 1999-00 Upper Deck release but are enhanced with an all-foil card stock and gold foil highlights. Prospect cards in both series were short printed and the series two cards were numbered out of 2500. This release was packaged in 24-pack boxes where packs contained 10 cards and carried a suggested retail price of $2.99. Cards #164 and 199 were intended to be Brendl and Jillson but were replaced by two other players prior to the packout. However a very small number of both cards were unofficially released and are considered very scarce. [Collapse]
