This 270-card set was produced by Semic Press to commemorate the 1995 World Championships, which were held in Stockholm. The players pictured have represented their countries at some point in international competition, and thus are shown wearing their national team garb. Card fronts feature a variegated yellow-orange border, with the Globe and World Championships logo (VM '95) along the top. Player name and country are listed in a blue bar and in Swedish text, along the bottom. A silver foil Globe '95 icon is set in the lower left corner. Card backs include a small reprise of the front photo, along with personal information, including all statistics from major international tournaments. No card number 85 is in the set - Mike Gartner was misnumbered 86. An NNO two-sided card of Peter Forsberg and Mats Sundin was randomly inserted in packs. It is believed that there are less than 2,000 of these cards in circulation. A special binder was released to store the set; it is valued at $5. [Collapse]
