This five-card set was sponsored by the five licensed card companies (Donruss, Fleer/Skybox, Pinnacle, Topps, and Upper Deck) who each produced one card for distribution at the 1996 All-Star Game Fanfest, which was held in Boston. The fronts featured color action photos of Phil Esposito in designs unique to each manufacturer. The backs carried information about the legendary Bruin great.
