Set Information

Consisting of 90 cards, this interactive set featured 30 players. Each player had three cards with different dates on the front. Consisting of 90 cards, this interactive set featured 30 players. Each player had three cards with different dates on the front. If the player scored a goal on either of the dates, the card with the corresponding date could be redeemed for a special 30-card set. Randomly inserted in packs, these cards came in silver (1:5 packs) and gold (1:34 packs) foil versions. The words "silver" or "gold" were in their respective color foil at bottom left and the date was also printed in foil. There are also several parallels of this set, including gold and silver redeemed winner sets, and gold and silver bonus cards awarded of the redeemed player along with the gold or silver set. Because not every player had a winning card, however, the gold and silver bonus sets are considered complete at 23 cards each. It should be noted however that a few copies of the bonus cards have been confirmed to exist of the seven players that did not have winning cards. Also, several erroneous variation cards have been reported featuring game dates on which that player's team did not play. These cards appear to be in short supply, but do not demand exorbitant premiums. To differentiate between each of the player's three insert cards, they are numbered here with A, B and C suffixes. The expiration date for redeeming cards was July 1st, 1996. [Collapse]
