Against the background of the home team's skyline or another prominent architectural landmark, the backs carried a color action player cut-out overprinted at the bottom with biographical and statistical information. A holographic team logo appeared in the lower right corner. Rookie Cards included Jason Arnott, Damian Rhodes and Jocelyn Thibault. An oversized (8" by 11 3/4") blowup of Mario Lemieux's card #1 was distributed as a promotional item in advance of the release of the set.
