This set of 36 cards was issued in four separate series. The cards are reprints of cards from the 1950s. Capturing eight goalies from the 1950's Parkhurst collections, the first set was inserted into first series 12-card foil packs. The second eight cards showcase defensemen; these cards were randomly inserted in series 1 jumbo packs. Forwards (17-24) were inserted in second series foil with the remaining forwards (25-32) inserted in second series jumbo packs. The cover cards, which reproduce Parkhurst wrappers on their fronts (1953-54 and 1955-56), have a checklist on their backs. The fronts vary in design but all carry a color shot of the featured player. The players' names are on the fronts, some in print, some in signature form. The backs carry the information from the original card. The print varies from red to black to a combination. The Turk Broda and Terry Sawchuk cards are blank on the back as the originals are. Only Canadian cases included a newly created 1954-55 Don Cherry Parkie 101 card. The Parkie Reprints set is considered complete without it. [Collapse]
