The backs show a slightly offset, pale, team color-coded panel which carries a close-up photo and biographical data. A darker team color-coded bar with a speckled effect presents statistics and appears at the bottom. The team logo overlaps the picture panel at the lower left corner of the photo. Each pack contained an insert from either the Top Rookie set or the 22-card Star Performers set. According to O-Pee-Chee, every ninth pack contained a Top Rookie card as its insert with the other packs containing a Star Performers card.
