The same 25 players are featured in a 25th Anniversary wax pack insert set. O-Pee-Chee produced 12,000 Special Anniversary Collector sets which included the complete 396-card set and the 26-card (including checklist) anniversary insert set. Also, 750 additional factory sets were allocated across Canada for confectionary customers and O-Pee-Chee employees to purchase. Card fronts feature color player photos bordered by a metallic blue stripe on the left and full-bleed on the other three sides. The player's name, team name, and position appear in a gray stripe toward the bottom of the card. The bilingual backs carry the team logo, biography, complete statistics, and player profile.
