Just opened a pack of 2007 Bowman, and the first card was:

You can see the 000/000 number on the back. I do not have another one so do not know if they are all like this, or if this is a SP error.

jacksoncoupage- re:Witt. I've asked around about this card alot and only know of the '05 one, this one and a E/V collector I've recently met said his buddy has one he might get (have yet to see a pic to confirm). ....$10 lol
Used to super collect Ripken FF versions. Now I'm looking for a new direction.

Thanks for posting those pics Jackson. I still need the Hoiles, Drabek, and Whiten errors if you have dupes. I think I have more than one of the Storm Davis 1/2 trademark if you still need that. And that Mike Witt card is the first one I've ever seen. I've casually looked for it on Ebay for years and never found one.

[quote="jermoore34"]Does anyone know if this is a variation or some sort of printing mistake? The backs are completely the same and have a B in the copyright area. The fronts however, are different, I have one that doesn't have the blueish green blob on it at all and two cards that have the blob. The blob on the two cards is in the same location on the card, and nearly the same size. Any ideas?

Not familiar with those, but that looks like a 7 on the cards. Maybe it's a promo.

I would be willing to trade a Hoiles or Drabek for something I need of Robin Ventura, Steve Sax or Kirk Gibson, but I am not really looking to trade for variations right now. I'm actually about to list a 5000ct box of just 1991 Topps variations. The big tree you listed aren't included but it's probably the largest volume of them ever offered at once so hopefully it will do well.

If I find another copy of either of those, I'll pm you to work something out.

Here's a new one for ya guys. This is a 2004 Elite Extra Edition #279 Joey Gathright. It is listed as autographed and numbered to 1000. This version has neither auto nor serial numbering.

Yeah, blank fronts from that year are very common (as common as blank fronts get), but blank backs from 1991 Topps are extremely tough to locate.

This has been my experience with modern Topps blank front/backs:

1981 fronts: never seen
1981 backs: see them periodically, but somewhat scarce.
1982 fronts: never seen
1982 backs: see them once in a while, somewhat scarce
1983 fronts: never seen
1983 backs: see them often, still tough to find
1984 fronts: can't recall seeing one
1984 backs: see them on ebay periodically, not too rare but the proofs are, you can tell the difference by looking at the inset photo, if it's inside the box, it's a proof.
1985 fronts: have seen a couple, pretty scarce
1985 backs: have only seen a few, pretty scarce (McGwire is always a fake)
1986 fronts: haven't seen any
1986 backs: show up once in a while, but pretty scarce
1987 fronts: show up often, not too scarce
1987 backs: show up periodically, somewhat tougher to locate
1988 fronts: show up often, not too scarce
1988 backs: show up periodically, somewhat tougher to locate
1989 fronts: fairly common, many found in Fairfield Target blisters and Kruk Cards sells complete sets of them. Probably the easiest to find of the 80's.
1989 backs: have only seen a few, somewhat scarce
1990 fronts: fairly common, show up often for sale in large lots or quantity of player or sets.
1990 backs: have only seen a handful over the last 19 years. The Griffey that shows up for sale is usually cut from the top of the box and not a "real" blankback.
1991 fronts: fairly common, show up often for sale in large batches or sets.
1991 backs: scarce but once or twice a year you'll see them offered - usually just commons. Another tough year for blankbacks.
1992 fronts: hardly ever offered for sale.
1992 backs: fairly common.
1993 fronts: Kruk cards has many complete sets of these. Pretty common.
1993 backs: not scarce but not too rare.
